It was a humble beginning for LGS when it was started in 2007.
There were just 27 teachers and 600 students from classes LKG to VIII.
Today after eight eventful years LGS stands tall brimming with pride and confidence its roots have penetrated deep and spread far and wide with 80 teaching faculty 40 non-teaching and 1621 students.
LGS has carved a miche for itself as one of the best educational institutions in the district in a very short span of time and LGS owes this to the stellar performance of its X & XII students year after year in the board exams. The dedication and hardwork of LGS teachers and students is evident through the wonderful results of our X & XII students in the board examinations.
Year after year our students are scaling new heights making us proud. Our fifth batch of XII students earned us two district ranks. Madhumitha .P.K (1184/1200) first in Vellore District and Mrinalini .M.S. (1181/1200) third in Vellore District and our sixth batch of X students got the 4th rank in the state and 3rd rank in Vellore district.
LGS is proud to own a team of teachers who are highly qualified and highly motivated, dedicated and student friendly. They are led by a strong leader. Ms. Parveen Aslam who believes in Team work and aims for perfection in everything she undertakes.
At LGS no compromises are made when it comes to the quality of education imparted. Students are held in high esteem and LGS believes in give respect take respect policy.
What makes LGS special is not only the district ranks or the no. of competitions that LGS wins every year but the genuineness with which the LGS teachers interact with their students, the positive impact they leave on them and true to the saying,
